Big family, big memories
So if you know any freelance photographers in your world, they’ll probably tell you that they have worked on the odd stat holiday. Sometimes even the big ones, like Christmas Eve. My friend Susan, whom I’ve known since we were in Grade 8, low these many… many… moons ago, was having a family get together and as this would be the only time they were all together and we were all available, I agreed to do portraits in studio.
I can’t lie… it’s amazing (and weird) to do photos like this in as much as it’s hard to believe that Susan and I have known each other for almost 30 years! And that her youngest is almost as old as we were when we met! And to see her brother and sister who I also knew from school with their growing families and to see the different directions everyone has taken. It’s weird, but also pretty wonderful.
