Did I mention... I'm now a cat person too?
Thatβs right, the Andrea Norberg you know, who makes noises that only very sensitive microphones could hear when she sees a cute puppy, is now a cat person.
Can you believe it?
The Moopsy says; Hello.
It had been 3 years since I had to put my beloved Buster down, and while I still feel as though something broke in me when I lost him, I was starting to feel that I wanted a small furry creature to share our humble abode.
The Moopsy doesnβt love being outside. Itβs too busy for her.
As it happened, some friends had somewhat recently acquired a new cat - a former stray from the Cat Distribution System who, when theyβd taken her in, turned out to be pregnant. They kept her and once the babies were born and getting more mature, she was not happy to be with them still. As such, she was offered up to be our first cat.
Look at her, sheβs so regal!
Now donβt get me wrong. Sheβs a menace. She still likes to claw and bite when you move in a way she doesnβt want you to, or if she thinks itβs time to wake up (and thankfully, sheβs not an alarm clock cat in the sense she doesnβt wake us to feed her as she has an automated feeder to do that, but if she senses us stirring around the time we normally get up, sheβll come up, purring, and then sheβll settle in next to youβ¦ and bite your arm, still purring away.).
Sheβs queen of the kingdom. And she knows it.
